From 28.01 – 30.01.2022. A module on the topic “Theory of Human Development 1” was held for students of the first educational year in integrative psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. The module was led by our esteemed Prof. dr.sc. Gordana Buljan Flander. Through the module we questioned theories of human development and theories of object relations. Through the experiential aspect of the module, we had the opportunity to open our own inner world and connect it with the professional role of an emerging psychotherapist. We discussed how we recognize our own position from symbiosis to individuation through different theoretical concepts. We completed the module with the unavoidable theory of attachment and the challenges of relying on the theory of attachment in diagnosis and psychotherapeutic treatment.
We are grateful to the professor for the inspiring lecture and guidance through the module and to our dear colleagues for their active participation.
