The society’s responsibility for mitigating and clear activities focused on research and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of children, adolescents and parents, and creating new programs to support children, youth and professionals in these new circumstances is greater than ever. The research available to us indicates elevated stress levels that result in increased anxiety and depressive difficulties observed in both children and adults. Following recent research, we conclude that it is possible to expect an increase in the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder during and after the pandemic, which we are already noticing. Therefore, BHIDAPA, a European accredited educational and therapeutic center, whose mission is to protect and improve the mental health and well-being of children, youth and families, from March 2020 until now, adjusts the organization of continuing education and treatment in integrative psychotherapy and counseling for children, adolescents and adults.
Through continuous education and selfless support of our mentors, professors, supervisors and enthusiasm, responsibility and perseverance of experts from our country, we continue to launch new educational programs in integrative psychotherapy for children and adolescents to better understand the difficulties of children, adolescents and their parents. Without active intersectoral cooperation and multidisciplinary assessment and treatment, we cannot protect, preserve and improve the mental health and well-being of our children.
Thank you to our mentors, professors, professional associates and supervisors for their selfless support and interconnectedness. Thank you to all our experts who work with children and young people in these difficult and challenging times.
In order to continue to strengthen the network and support all professionals who want to deal with psychotherapy and counseling for children and adolescents, we are opening a competition in the field of integrative psychotherapy for children and adolescents and a competition in the field of integrative psychotherapy for adults.
Sincerely,
BHIDAPA professional and educational team
