The CPRC, in collaboration with UNICEF, BHIDAPA and the Sarajevo Canton Educators Association, organized a great event in Sarajevo at the Hills Hotel.
It is my pleasure that BHIDAPA was one of the associates in the organization of the lecture of our dear Prof. Gordana Buljan Flander, PhD, on the theme: “SCIENCE AND THE ARTS OF UPBRINGING”, which included the promotion of a book for mental health professionals, psychologists, educators and social workers.
It is a great honor for me to have been one of the promoters of the book along with Prim. Goran Čerkez, MD, Prof. Elmedin Muratbegović, PhD, and Prof. Mirjana Mavrak, PhD.
The book Science and the Art of Upbringing, above all, is a rich preventative scientific work, an integration of science and love, as the strongest predictors of a child’s development on the path to growing up. It is praiseworthy and valuable, not only in the hands of parents and educators, but also of us professionals who are involved in the daily work of preserving the health and well-being of children.
