Teamwork, Intervision and Supervision
Work program of the Child, Youth and Family Health Protection Center, and according to the model of the Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb, includes:
1.continuous intervision and supervision of experts operating in the Center
2.continuous supervision for professionals working in mental health centers, centers for social work, Centers dealing with children and youth, police, judiciary, education etc.
3.development of regular contacts with institutions, which communicate with a child (kindergarten, school, center mental health, social welfare center, youth center, police, court, children’s home).
Team professional work is carried out within a multidisciplinary team.
Team leaders are PhD Vera Daneš Brozek, MD, child neuropsychiatrist and PhD Mirela Badurina, child psychotherapist.
Members of the interdisciplinary therapeutic team are: psychiatrist, psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, pediatrician, psychologist, social pedagogue, phonetician, lawyer and project manager.
The team work model includes:
1. specific knowledge and skills of each expert
2. multidisciplinarity
3. sustainability
4. Coordination for the benefit of clients
5. direct and indirect action of team members
6. personal involvement
Members of the interdisciplinary team are included in regular intervision and supervision:
Supervision of team work is led by PhD Gordana Buljan Flander, a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, PhD Vera Daneš Brozek, MD, child neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist, PhDDubravka Kocijan Hercigonja, MD, neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist for children and youth, PhD Saida Fišeković, MD, Neuropsychiatrist and Psychotherapist, and PhD Mirjana Graovac, md, psychiatrist for children and youth and psychodrama psychoanalyst.
All members of the Child, Youth and Family Protection Center are involved in interdisciplinary action of the Center.
