Module 5 – Activities within the school focused on psychosocial support for children and adolescents with the support of CMZ and CSW

On Friday 17.11.2023. the fifth and last module was held on the topic “Activities within schools aimed at psychosocial support for children and adolescents with the support of CMZ and CSW” as part of the fourth cycle of the “Here & Now” Interdisciplinary Network of Professionals: Care About Adolescent Girls, focused on preventive psychosocial activities and interventions in the treatment of adolescent girls who survived abuse with a focus on sexual abuse.

The module was led by our dear, European accredited trainers – prof. Ph.D. Gordana Buljan Flander, clin. psychologist, psychotherapist, trainer and court expert for abused and neglected children, Dr. sc. Mirela Badurina, gestalt and integrative psychotherapist, integrative psychotherapist for children and adolescents, trainer, mentor and supervisor, and our project assistant, Selma Karasoftić, with whose support the modules were impeccably implemented.

And on the last module of this cycle, the experts showed significant interest in the topic by asking questions, making suggestions and asking for help related to their personal and professional dilemmas. The participants had the opportunity to present the knowledge gained in all modules through work in small groups as part of the creation of draft preventive programs and to share very significant and original ideas focused on preventive programs in a large group.

With the fifth module, the fourth cycle of specialized training of experts of the “Here&Now” Interdisciplinary Network of Professionals: Care About Adolescent Girls, was completed. We rounded off the module with reflections on the entire program, insights, further steps and the responsible action of safeguarding and strengthening the created network of experts that we made possible through this specialized training. This cycle included 57 experts from the educational, health and social sectors from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska.

We would like to thank our dear colleagues for their trust and motivation during the entire program.
The project is implemented in cooperation with UNICEF and with the consent of the relevant ministries.
