Module on the topic:

“Depression and anxiety in children and adolescents”

was held:
from 24th -25th February, 2017.

Module was led by PhD Dubravka Kocijan Hercigonja, MD, neuropsychiatrist and integrative psychotherapist for children and adolescents. Director of the Kocijan-Hercigonja Polyclinic Zagreb. She is a renowned and world-renowned expert in the field of neuropsychiatry, especially child and adolescent psychiatry. Also, she is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation in Zagreb, the founder of the Croatian Interdisciplinary Therapy Association for Children and Young People and is the president of the European Association for Child and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy – EIATSCYP.

During the three days of the Module, through theoretical presentation, small group work, plenary discussions, large groups, participants were introduced to:
– The importance and characteristics of early relationships and their relationship to depression and anxiety in children and adolescents
– A clinical picture
– Assessment and diagnosis, differential diagnosis and comorbidity
– Therapeutic interventions and treatment.
