With New Year comes new news!
In mid-2019, BHIDAPA submitted an application form to the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy – EAIP http://www.euroaip.eu/, for full membership and the status of a European Accredited Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy. After fulfilling the criteria set out in the application form, a committee was formed to review the educational program, with the aim of reviewing compliance with European standards.
From 10 to 13.12.2019. Our Education Center was visited by the EAIP Commission. We hosted the President of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy, Bruno Van den Bosch, and EAIP Board Member Hilda Vleugels.
The Commission evaluated: the quality of training facilities and equipment, approval from national legal entities, financial management, evidence that BHIDAPA has been conducting education for five years, documentation to European standards, an educational program including teaching methodology and theoretical areas, the competence of professors, individual therapists and supervisors, keeping student records, and quality of interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration. Interviews with lecturers and students were also held on this occasion.
During this visit, three members of the BHIDAPA education team passed the final interview for accredited trainers in Integrative Psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, namely: Ph.D. Mirela Badurina, psychotherapist, Sabina Zijadić Husić, psychologist and psychotherapist and doctoral student Đana Lončarica, psychologist and psychotherapist.
After three days of dedicated work, the committee gave an oral notice that BHIDAPA meets all the criteria for full membership and the status of a Europeanly accredited Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy. The official credentials of BHIDAPA will be delivered in October 2020 in Athens at the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy.
We celebrated this great success of BHIDAPA’s entry into the European Accredited Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy with committee members, colleagues, colleagues and associates.
On this occasion, BHIDAPA solemnly announces that it is in the process of preparing for the opening of a new educational program in Integrative Psychotherapy, and we are opening the Contest soon.
