Summary/Abstract: This paper contains a description of research whose results allowed better understanding of the relation context’s influence on mental health of children as perceived through the eyes of early adolescents in various family, school and social dynamics as interactive systems in the Sarajevo Canton. 734 students enrolled in primary school senior classes (V-IX) were a part of this research which tried to determine the quality of family and school life, through the customized Questionnaires for weighting the family and school interactions, and self-evaluating their problems on a Youth Self Assessment Scale. The qualitative research was conducted on parents/caretakers and members of primary school managements included in the research (N=31), within the present social context. Only a fraction of results obtained through the aforementioned research (Badurina 2012) has been presented in this paper. The analysis of obtained results has been performed in relation to the general and specific aspects of the life quality and mental health of children in early adolescent age, and possibilities of early prevention within the Brofenbrenner’s ecological integration model.
