DECISION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CENTERS IN THE COMPOSITION OF A BRANCH IN SARAJEVO
Article 1
In accordance with Art. 6 and 28 of the Statute of Bosnian-Herzegovinian children’s and adolescent psychotherapy the Associations establish the Centers of Activities within the branch office Emerika Vlum 9, in Sarajevo, in accordance with the Statute of BHIDAPA and its goals and activities.
Article 2
The names of the Centers within the work of BHIDAPA are:
- European accredited education center
- Interdisciplinary Therapeutic Child, Youth and Family Protection Center
2.1. Center for forensic activity
2.2. Center for Crisis Intervention
- Scientific Research Center
In terms of their activities, the Centers will perform at the headquarters of the Branch Office in Sarajevo at ul. Emerika Bluma br. 9
Article 3
The objectives and activities of the Centers to be carried out are:
– Promotion, development, improvement of education in the field of psychotherapy and psychotherapy counseling, for children and youth in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of preserving and improving the mental health and well-being of every child / adolescent, as well as improving the quality of life of families, children and young people;
– Promoting the education of professionals in the fields of: child and adolescent integrative psychotherapy and psychotherapy counseling, integrative psychotherapy for adults, techniques and skills in working with children, crisis intervention and supervision through lectures, workshops and training in accordance with European standards;
– Work on establishment of counseling centers, supervision conducted by authorized supervisors and educators regulated by EIATSCYP (European Interdisciplinary Association for Therapeutic Services for Children & amp; Young People); EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy);
– Improving the implementation of educational activities in the field of developmental psychotherapy and related professions, and encouraging a high level of professional and scientific work through research, in the manner prescribed by the Law;
– Developing interdisciplinary cooperation with domestic or foreign related Associations, Institutions and individuals in projects dealing with education and treatment of children, adolescents and adults in accordance with the Law;
– Promoting the development of uniform standards in order to protect the rights of children and adolescents improving the conditions for proper mental development, in line with the European and world standards;
– Encourage participation in certain forms of education and cooperation of all professions dealing with the protection of health and well-being of children and young people in accordance with the Law;
– Education and information with the purpose of conducting preventative activities aimed at strengthening the determinants of health, early recognition of emotional and behavioral disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and adequate interventions, which involves families, especially young families about the importance and role of parents in the development of a child and the importance of developing a secure attachment , kindergarten educators, teachers, teachers, students and parents in schools through lectures, workshops and publications;
– Encourage the establishment of an organization and the implementation of measures to protect traumatized, abused and neglected children, with the aim of establishing and conducting multidisciplinary diagnostics and team planning of the best possible treatment for each child and parents in cooperation with related institutions in the best interests of the child and his or her well-being (school, kindergarten, CZSR, CMZ, Police, Homes, Children’s Villages, etc.), in the manner provided by the Law;
– Advocating for the best possible treatment of psychotraumatized children and their parents (including abused and neglected children), of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect (children with learning disabilities, with ADHD syndrome, with chronic diseases, prematurely born children, children from the family with a dysfunctional dynamics and risky families, children whose parents are under intense parental or general stress, high-conflict divorces, etc.), and children and young people in contact with Law;
– Improvement in the organization of continuous training in the application of new methods of working with psychotraumatized children, young people, and their families, and advocating for coordinated cooperation with other mental health professionals, related associations, institutions and individuals, with the aim of sharing experiences and creating common programs and approaches, in the country and abroad;
– Work on encouraging professional and scientific work and research of Association members through continuous education, supervision, personal development, and participation in professional and scientific gatherings at home and abroad;
– Encourage the continuous and systematic supervision of professionals working with children, young people and families, and the development of regular contacts with related institutions, which communicate with child (hospital, kindergarten, school, social welfare center, police, court, children’s home).
– Organizing professional seminars, lectures, experiential workshops, conferences, congresses, with aim of achieving the goals and activities of the Association in accordance with the Law;
– Advocating for the implementation of a high degree of education in the field of forensic activity and evaluations;
– Informing the professional medical public through cooperation and cooperation with the media;
-Publication of scientific journals, manuals, textbooks, brochures, promotional material aimed at promoting children’s rights, and sensitizing society, especially experts, to the seriousness of the problem of child abuse, the ability to identify and provide appropriate assistance and support, and raising public awareness of the importance of preserving and improving mental health and quality of life of children, adolescents and families, for the purpose of achieving the goals and activities of the Association in the manner prescribed by Law;
– Encourage the provision of conditions for opening a Polyclinic for the protection of children, young people and the family.
Article 4
All centers operate within the Association and the branch office as an organizational unit, according to the work plan and program, and in accordance with positive legal regulations.
