Final exam and ceremonial promotion of the third generation of graduate child and adolescent integrative psychotherapists

We are pleased to inform you that the BHIDAPA Center in Sarajevo, 05.06. and 06.06.2021. to hold the final exam, combined online and live, graduates of child and adolescent integrative psychotherapy and the ceremonial promotion of the third generation of graduate psychotherapists.

BHIDAPA, launched in 2015, the first European accredited educational program in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of child and adolescent integrative psychotherapy and counseling, in cooperation with the Institute D.O.M. from Croatia, EIATSCYP-om (European Interdisciplinary Association for Therapeutic Services for Children & Young People), and in accordance with European EAP standards and WHO recommendations(World Health Organization).

The need for such an educational program was shown by the results of research in our field on the mental health of children and adolescents, and the shortage of experts specifically educated in the field of mental health of children and adolescents. The results clearly emphasize the need to strengthen public awareness of the healthy development of the child, the importance of adequate preventive actions at this age, and above all the education of professionals in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy of developmental age. The health situation caused by COVID 19 and its consequences for the mental health of children and young people, further invites us to professional education on understanding the difficulties of children and young people and responsible action.

The European accredited educational program has trained candidates to gain professional, research and academic experience with a special emphasis on clinical skills. Lecturers in the education are world-renowned experts in the field of neuropsychiatry, psychology, social work, psychotherapy from: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, France, Slovenia, Great Britain, the United States.

Exam commission and mentors in the composition: prof.dr.sc. Dubravka Kocijan Hercigonja, dr.med., neuropsychiatrist and integrative psychotherapist for children and adolescents; prof.dr.sc. Gordana Buljan Flander, clinical psychologist and integrative psychotherapist for children and adolescents and prof.dr.sc. Mirjana Graovac, dr.med., psychiatrist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist, will promote, after successfully defending the final exam, the third generation of graduate child and adolescent integrative psychotherapists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia.

The graduates who met all the conditions according to the European propositions for taking the final exam are:

Acquiring the title of Children and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapist enables obtaining the European EIATSCYP certificate.
