We are pleased to announce the Module on the topic:
“Working with Sexually Abused Children: From Doubt, Interviews, Rules of Procedure for the Protection of Children to Treatment”, wich will be held from 8th till 11th November, 2019 in Sarajevo.
The module will be led by Prof. Gordana Buljan Flander, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Director of the Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb and the Association for Assistance to Abused and Neglected Children Courageous Telephone. She is a Council of Europe expert on the protection of sexually abused children and a permanent court expert for abused and neglected children. She is especially dedicated to imparting her knowledge and experience to future professionals and is a great support to the expert team of the Interdisciplinary Therapy Center for the Protection of Children, Youth and Families, working within BHIDAPA.
The module is part of regular teaching for students of educational program in child and adolescent integrative psychotherapy, and is open to professionals who deal with psychotherapy and treatment of children and young people in their daily work.
Throughout the module through the theoretical part, practical work and exercises, participants will gain knowledge and skills from defining child sexual abuse, rules on how to protect sexually abused children, what to do when a child confides in us, to the difference between forensically sensitive therapy and therapeutic treatment (TFCBT ).

Dynamics of the Open Part of the Module:
– Friday from 19:00 – 21:00 (from 17:30 – 19:00 only for students of the Education Program)
– Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
– Sunday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am (from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm only for students of the Education Program)
The registration fee is 250KM and for BHIDAPA members 200KM. Your place of education should be pre-registered via online application https://bhidapa.ba/prijava-za-otvoreni-modul/ and book with advance payment in the amount of 100KM until 07.11.2019. do 12h. Payment information can be found on https://bhidapa.ba/podaci-za-placanje/. The rest of the payment can be made before the start or during the education.
The registration fee includes: Certificate and educational material.
