Dear colleagues, members and friends of BHIDAPA,
We are pleased to announce the Module on the topic:

“Working with sexually abused children, forensically sensitive therapy and cooperation with institutions in accordance with legal regulations”

which will be held:
from 29.06.-01.07.2018.

The module will be led by Prof. Dr. Gordana Buljan Flander, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. Director of the Polyclinic for the Protection of Children and Youth of the City of Zagreb.

The module is open primarily to students of the European educational program in child and adolescent integrative psychotherapy and counseling, but also to people involved in daily work, psychotherapy, treatment, education, education of children and youth, and improving the mental health of children and youth and their well-being.

During the module through theoretical presentations, experiential work and exercises, participants will acquire knowledge and skills about:

✓ signs of sexual abuse in children
✓ risk factors and consequences of sexual abuse
✓ methods of assessment and basics of forensic interviewing of a sexually abused child
✓ forensically sensitive therapy and the importance of such therapy
✓ modalities of therapeutic support for sexually abused children and their non-abusive parents
✓ experiences in working with sexually abused children at the Polyclinic for the Protection of Children and Youth of the City of Zagreb

The goal is to empower participants to deal with this issue through lectures and workshops, and to deepen their knowledge and skills that will enable them to adequately respond to the needs of sexually abused children.

Venue: BHIDAPA – Interdisciplinary Therapeutic Center for the Protection of Children, Youth and Families, 9 Emerika Bluma Street (OHR).

Dynamics of work of the Open part of the Module:
– Friday from 19:00 – 21:00 (from 18:00 – 19:00 only for students of the Educational Program)
– Saturday 9:30 to 18:00
– Sunday from 8:30 – 11:30 (from 11:30 – 12:30 only for students of the Educational Program)

Registration fee is 250 KM, and for BHIDAPA members, 200 KM. Your place in the education must be registered in advance via online registration and book by paying an advance in the amount of 100KM to 15.06.2018.

The rest of the payment can be made before the start or during the training.
Registration fee includes: Certificate, refreshments during the Module and material. Seats limited.
